Recently published hit books about Donald Trump and ‘90s con men, as well as in-demand fiction, hadn’t been acquired as of Monday morning, when THE CITY asked about their absence
A new book about Donald Trump's time on "The Apprentice" has received numerous reviews and headlines. However, patrons of the New York Public Library (NYPL) looking to borrow a hardcover copy of "Apprentice in Wonderland" by Ramin Setoodeh, which offers an inside look at the reality TV show, are out of luck. As of Monday morning, the NYPL has not purchased the book, citing a lack of funds at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, despite the book being released on June 18.
