The Goshen County Library (GCL) has been serving the citizens of Torrington, Wyoming, and the surrounding area for over one hundred years. Three Wyoming State Library (WSL) employees including Abby Beaver, Wyoming State Librarian; Letitia Bulic, the WSL’s Youth Services Consultant; and Christi Weinzierl, the WSL’s Communications and Grants Specialist, had the privilege of visiting and exploring the GCL on June 19.
Cristine Braddy, the GSL’s director, graciously provided a tour of the library grounds, which includes beautiful spaces both indoors and outdoors for patrons to enjoy library programming, visit and play with friends and family, or simply enjoy a great book from the library.
The GCL features Goshen County’s only indoor play and discovery space for kids, which includes a construction site and a grocery store for imaginative play, as well as cloud light covers to provide a “playing outside” feel, even when the Wyoming weather doesn’t cooperate
