Hidden REF Competition 2024
The Hidden REF was launched to raise awareness of the research outputs and roles that are vital to research but overlooked by traditional research evaluation. We want to build a more effective and more equitable system for recognising contributions to research success. Please take part in the competition if you work in research and want to raise awareness of your own work or the work of others.

Submissions are now open, with a deadline of 13th September 2024.

Submissions comprise a summary and description of the person or output. The submissions will be judged by panels of experts drawn from the research community.
- Summary (up to 300 words)
- Please provide the following information against the Hidden REF criteria (up to 600 words)
- Explain the significance/importance of this submission.
- Please describe how/why this submission is overlooked/hidden within current research culture and evaluation approaches.
