Description |
Provide
leadership in library services, collections, and personnel for the
universitys medical, nursing, dentistry, veterinary, and other health
sciences programs;coordinate collection development and collection
assessment for these programs;review, maintain, and assist in developing
documentation to support the librarys strategic planning and assessment
processes for health sciences. |
Required
Qualifications |
M.L.S.
from an ALA accredited program; minimum of 4 years of
librarian experience in an academic or medical library with a minimum of 2
years serving graduate health sciences programs; *some supervisory
experience; some collection development and collection assessment
experience in health sciences areas. |
Preferred
Qualifications |
Academy
of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) credential; *demonstrated
knowledge of health sciences resources, and performing health sciences
literature searches; *additional advanced degree in an area relevant to LMUs
programs. |

and virtual reference services to faculty, staff, and students at
the DCOM-Knoxville site and to the university community as needed; |

development and conduct collection assessment activities for the Reed Health
Sciences Library collaborating with the librarians; |

participate in faculty and
student library and technology workshops; |
